The FasTRAK
Metal Platesetting System images from computer directly
to plate at speeds up to one hundred and eighty plates
per hour. By eliminating film, the principle produces
a more economical workflow. The FasTRAK system brings
PrePRESS characteristic high speed and high quality
imagery to a plate recorder designed for rigorous production
of aluminum printing plates from sizes as small as 305mm
x 381mm (12" x 15") up to 625mm x 914mm (24.625"
x 36"). |
| The FasTRAK system improves
productivity. It eliminates time consuming and labour
intensive steps from the production cycle to get work
on press quicker. No more photomedia output and processing,
no more manual stripping, no more separate platemaking.
By going from computer directly to plate, you're on
a fast track to the printing press. |
| The FasTRAK system saves
you money. By eliminating unnecessary production steps,
the FasTRAK platesetter saves the cost of expensive
equipment, film, other consumables, and labour. And
the FasTRAK platesetter's extremely affordable price
makes computer-to-plate technology accessible to printers
of all sizes. New violet laser versions further reduce
the operating costs. |
| The FasTRAK system is reliable.
The FasTRAK platesetter brings field proven PrePRESS
technology to the computer-to-plate arena. The FasTRAK
platesetter is driven from Panther RIP III or can sit
on any Laserbus system allowing it to be driven by RipExpress
or PrintExpress. |
| The FasTRAK platesetter
features eight standard resolutions from 400 to 1000
dpcm (1016 to 2540 dpi) with imaging speeds as fast
as 57 seconds for the largest size plates. Various processors
connect directly to the FasTRAK platesetter for online
operation. |
| The FasTRAK system when
fitted with the optional Autoloader as shown above,
provides maximum efficiency. With a capacity of up to
350 plates, the Autoloader / FasTRAK HS combination
ensures fastest possible plate handling by allowing
the stages of loading, imaging, exiting and processing
to overlap. |
